If you have been saddened by the recent loss of a loved one, then you need to give yourself some time to work through the natural process of grieving. The Bereavement Support Group is meant to help anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. Through prayer, discussion and instruction, the bereaved learn that grief is a normal and natural reaction to the death of a loved one. Though few of us are prepared for the long journey of grief, that is at times devastating, frightening, and lonely, our parish provides a healing environment where the bereaved are given an opportunity to work through grief. In order to move beyond grief, there is no alternative but to move through it. The best therapy for grief is to find people who will listen to your story. This is what the Bereavement Support Group does. We meet two times a year, in the Fall and the Spring, in the Nativity Center 7:00-8:15 PM
We are asking that you please register for this group so that we know how many participants to expect. You can register by leaving your name and phone number or email address with Diane Kloosterman at [email protected] or by calling her at 845-849-3637. Thank you.
